When you're part of a union family someone always has your back! Being there for each other is one of the things that helps keep our UFCW 227 family strong. In the past when fellow members were in need we stepped up and worked together to help them out by organizing a fundraiser at your store or plant. As with everything, COVID has made it more difficult to have those fundraiser events, even though hardships continue to happen just as often.Signing up for the UFCW 227 Foundation Virtual 5K and One-Mile Fun Run/Walk is a great way to help out fellow union members in their time of need. The funds raised by this event will go toward helping members of our union family going through hardships, like a house fire or a serious medical issue. Just like at the bargaining table, we as individuals can't accomplish the same things as we can accomplish when we stand together. Sign up today, and be there for someone in their time of need.
